"Jana Seta" provides the map application “BalticMaps” with original, detailed maps and data of Baltic States — Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Applications are available in the Google Play and App Store.

A paid subscription to the full version of the app purchased from the Google Play Store is not valid for iOS phones (Apple) and vice versa.

In the free version users can access following features:

browse maps made by ”Jana Seta” as well as browse contemporary and historical topographic maps of Latvia;
browse the latest orthophoto maps of Latvia (LĢIA) and Estonia (Maa-met);
use GPS functionality to determine your or other location (WGS and LKS-92 coordinates) on map and the closest address;
share your location;
report errors or changes in map data.

In the paid subscription version users can:

use full turn-by-turn navigation, with voice instructions for cars and pedestrians, including up to 50 waypoints;
search for Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian addresses and places, localities, counties, parishes, rivers, lakes, points of interest etc.;
download and use offline vector map (for now, available only for Android);
see cadastre information and search cadastral parcel and buildings in Latvia;
see live traffic information in Riga and Pieriga (updated every five minutes) and speed cameras;
browse the hillshade map of Latvia, representing detailed topography and elevation;
bookmark favourite places;
see points of interest, speed cameras on the map;
see Baltic-wide long distance hiking trails — the Forest Trail, the Baltic Coastal Hiking Route and Latgale Lake Hiking trail.

”Jana Seta” updates the address information on daily basis, vector maps and POI data on monthly basis, its raster maps on quarterly basis. However, updates of orthophoto and topographic maps is provided by third party services (LĢIA, Maa-met, LVM). It is also possible to submit map corrections or recommendations for changes in functionality in the application.

The app is available in Latvian and English.

Raster maps may be used without internet connection in areas that have already been previously loaded (stored in the phone's internal memory). This applies to both free and subscription versions.
The address search, routing, traffic information and points of interest are available only online.
The program does not take into account the real-time traffic information when calculating the route and ETA, yet.
